I am a fellow Torontonian and stumbled upon you site when looking up how to grow microgreens and sprouts and you have seriously inspired me. Thank you very much for your beautiful photographs. I’m extremely excited now as I’m waiting for my sprouter to be delivered.
Just a question… where did you find baby blankets in toronto? I was going to order some from amazon but the shipping is super expensive. So to save myself a little money, I ordered exandable clay and some coco medium for growning corn and pea shoots for my condo-sized microgreen garden from a place close to the airport. However, if the baby blanket is better, I wouldn’t mind giving it a try…
The kale jerky email brought me here today with the inquiry of what camera you use for your photography? Your shots just keep better and better and are really reflecting published quality. I’m entertaining the idea of replacing my older model camera as I’ve began taking more photos again lately – and as always, you inspire me to be creative, cook good foods and pay attention to detail in the small things. I’ve shared the shiitake logs with my father and he just couldn’t believe it!ReplyCancel
Just found your site as we are thinking of raising fish in a tank. We live on 30 acres of bush, near Bancroft, Ont. off grid and very independent. We raise chickens for the eggs and do meat birds twice a year as a food supply over the winter.

Amazing what you do living in Toronto.
I will read more of your blog as time permits.
